Symptoms of menopause
Symptoms of menopause occur in about 70% of women approaching menopause. Usually menopause symptoms, for example hot flashes or night sweats, result from hormonal changes in the reproductive system of a female. Almost every woman notices early symptoms while still having periods. This stage of gradual falls and fluctuations of hormone levels is referred to as perimenopause, and it typically starts in the early 40s.
In most cases the symptoms of menopause appear for the whole menopause transition (until the mid 50s), but certain women may observe them for the rest of their lives. Typical symptoms include: Hot Flashes, Night Sweats, Irregular Periods, Loss of Libido, and Vaginal Dryness. However, there is a wide range of treatments available that can be applied to cope with these symptoms.
1. Hot Flashes:
Approximately 75 to 85% of American women are reported to experience hot flashes when they’re in menopause. Hot flashes, which usually fell like a sudden, transient sensation of warmth or heat that spreads over the entire body and creates areas of redness (flushing), that are especially noticeable on the face and upper parts of the body. No matter if your own hot flashes are experienced as delicate flushes or the engulfing flames do not worry as they’re completely normal.
